To Our Patients,
Alaska Center for Dentistry has re-opened its doors to both new and established patients as of May 4, 2020. If you had a previously scheduled appointment during our COVID-19 closure March 19-May 1, 2020, we will reach out to you soon to re-schedule.
While you’ve been social distancing at home, our team has been working hard to ensure the long-term safety of our patients and staff members! Here are some of the changes we’ve made to protect your family’s health:
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Our staff members consistently wear the recommended PPE, as advised by the CDC and American Dental Association.
- High-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filtration system. In response to the spread of COVID-19, we have installed a specialized air purifier to achieve surgically clean air in our office. Our air purifier is designed to eliminate harmful fungal and bacterial organisms.
- Increased Safety Measures. We have increased all safety and sanitary measures to keep you safe. Also, our waiting room is closely monitored to minimize the number of people in the area at one time. At the time of your appointment, you will be asked to call our front desk to ensure there isn’t anyone in the waiting area.
- Patient Screening. Prior to your appointment, each patient will participate in a wellness screen over the phone. Upon arriving to your appointment, another in-person wellness screening will take place and your temperature will be taken. Any patients showing signs of illness will kindly be asked to reschedule their appointment.
Call us today to schedule your dental appointment. Alaska Center for Dentistry is fully-staffed and ready to take care of you and your family once again!
Thank you for trusting us with your smile!
