Meet the Dentist
C. Michael Sage Jr., DDS
Dr. Sage has been caring for dental patients for over
25 years. He has gained extensive post doctorial experience from education
and training at the University of Southern California, University of
Oklahoma and from the Pankey Institute in Miami, Florida.
Dr. Sage spent four years in the United States Air Force, then studied
biochemistry and biology at the University of Colorado, graduating in
l992. Dr. Sage attended the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry
in San Francisco, CA. After graduating from dental school in l996, he
completed a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at
the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center. Since his residency,
Dr. Sage has completed over 700 hours of continuing education including
advanced study in aesthetic dentistry, TMJ and facial pain management
at the Pankey Institute in Miami FL, and oral/IV sedation training at
the University of Southern California. Dr. Sage has recently completed
100 hours of continuing education in implant dentistry in 2006.
Dr. Sage was a recipient of the Fellowship Award from the Academy of
General Dentistry in 2004. He is currently a member of the American
Dental Association and the Alaska Dental Society. Dr. Sage lives in
the MatSu Valley with his wife Kathy and his two daughters, Aubrey and
Lindey. When he is not in the office he enjoys fishing, hiking, skiing
and flying.
