C. Michael Sage Sr., D.D.S.

I attended Indiana University School of Dentistry. I was active in the United States Air Force on Elmendorf for four years, and taught at the L.D. Pankey institute for over 20 years. I enjoy flying, hunting, fishing, skiing, and being a part of the Boy Scouts of America. I founded this practice in 1977, and have been working here ever since. I truly enjoy the interaction with our patients. Providing high quality dentistry for them is very satisfying and rewarding for me.

Barbara Churchill, D.D.S.

I attended Ohio State University for all of my schooling. I began my career in dentistry as a registered Dental Hygienist, and worked for thirteen years before deciding to become a dentist. The youngest of my three sons was in first grade when I decided to go back to school. I graduated Suma Cum Laude in 1978 from Ohio State, and began my private practice that I had for over thirty years. During that time I was a faculty Member at OSU Dental School. Two and a half years ago I sold my practice and moved from Ohio, where I lived my whole life, to Alaska looking for something new. So far, I am absolutely loving it. In my free time, I like cooking, sewing, decorating, gardening, and working on my home built 1935 International Pickup. Now that I’m living in Alaska I’ve added skiing, snowshoeing, dancing, tent camping, and fishing to the list! I really enjoy working with the patients at Alaska Center for Dentistry Anchorage. Our staff is so attentive to the needs of our patients that it makes it a wonderful place to work.

Michael Maxwell, D.D.S

I grew up on a small ranch in Cost Mesa California. I enrolled in the Loma Linda University School of Dentistry near Redlands California and graduated in 1968. In 1969 my wife and I moved to Alaska only planning on staying for five years. After experiencing the charm and beauty Alaska has to offer, we couldn’t bring ourselves to leave and we are now proud to call Alaska our home. Thirty years ago I started my practice and I am an active member of the local, state and national Dental Societies. I have attended many continuing education courses and have advanced training in dental lasers and conscious sedation. Cosmetic dentistry is a large part of why I love dentistry so much because I get to help patients achieve their optimum dental health in a gental, caring way. I am excited to be a part of the team at Alaska Center for Dentistry Anchorage.

Les D. Williams, D.D.S.

I graduated from Bloomington High school in Illinois. I obtained both a Bachelors and Masters degrees from Illinois University, and then graduated in 1982 from the Northwest University Dental School in Chicago. I completed my Advanced Education in General Dentistry in Nebraska and retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years of decorated service. I love spending time with my wife, Keri. I have two sons, Luke and Ben, and I enjoy flying and exploring the great outdoors.

Norman Sharp, D.D.S.

I graduated from Utah State University with a degree in Business Management and went on to receive my dental education at New York University College of Dentistry. I graduated in the top 10 percent of my class and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honors fraternity.  I graduated with Honors in Implant Dentistry where I received instruction from the leaders and innovators of implant dentistry.  Originally from Utah, I enjoy the outdoors and the adventure it brings.  Much of my free time is spent cycling, hiking, snowboarding, golfing, and jogging with my toddler son who loves to come along and look for animals.  I try to provide a comfortable dental experience and understand the fears that some may feel when visiting the dentist.
