Dental Prosthetics in Anchorage and Wasilla Alaska

With the strongest and most durable synthetic materials available, we can create custom-fitting crowns, bridges, veneers and more to make your smile look picture-perfect.

Our dental prosthetics include:

  • Bonding: Using a little tooth-colored composite material, we will ‘fill in the blanks’. This is perfect for filling in spaces between teeth while retaining their natural look. The most popular use of this technique is to fill in the gap between the front teeth.
  • Bridges: If you are missing one or more teeth, a bridge can provide several benefits. Bridges are typically bonded permanently into place. They are anchored in place on each side of the space caused by the missing tooth. This provides strong support for the prosthetic and it also keeps neighboring teeth from drifting. Furthermore, bridges help to preserve normal function and normal bite for the jaw joint.
  • Crowns or Caps: A crown fits over the entire top of the tooth above the gum line. This covers, protects, seals and strengthens the tooth. Crowns should be used when fillings just won’t do the job and they’re typically found in gold, white porcelain or porcelain fused with gold.
  • Full or Partial Dentures: If you have lost most or all of your natural teeth, you may benefit greatly from dentures. Dentures can restore your self-esteem and they can help you regain your ability to eat and speak clearly. Dentures can even offer renewed support to the lips and cheeks giving you a natural, much younger appearance.
  • Dental Implants: Dental implants are surgically placed into the jaw. This provides an artificial root for a single tooth replacement. A prosthesis (artificial tooth or teeth) is then attached to the artificial root for an incredibly natural look.
  • Mini-Implants: With mini-implants, a strong, small, titanium screw about the size of a standard wooden toothpick is used to anchor or bridge a denture, or it can also be used for a single tooth replacement. You will be placed under a mild anesthesia before the mini-implant is gently put into the place. The denture will then snap onto the implant, holding it in place so that it doesn’t move around or ‘float’ inside your mouth.
  • Veneers: If you aren’t quite happy with your smile, veneers may be the answer. These custom-fitting, porcelain facings are bonded to the front surfaces of your teeth. This effectively whitens your smile, straightens your teeth and fills in spaces. You can also repair chipped or worn teeth. Veneers are only about 1 mm thick, but some of the thickness is saved off of your natural tooth surface so that you never feel a difference.
